Monterey is a Common Sense School

Monterey Elementary has been approved as a Common Sense School for their efforts completed during the 2019-2020 school year.  This is an honor that recognizes teaching digital citizenship to young people and engaging the entire school community in this important discussion. The recognition acknowledges Monterey's commitment to helping students build skills that are essential for their well-being today—and for the opportunities they'll have tomorrow.

"We're honored to be recognized as a Common Sense School," said Principal, Morgan Strother. "By preparing our students to use technology safely and responsibly, we are providing them an opportunity to build lifelong habits to help them succeed in a tech-driven world."
